[ase-users] Bug in copy and pasting atoms

I've never copy-pasted anything in ase-gui.  What do I do to reproduce 
this?  It would be great if one of you could do some bisection in our 
SVN history in order to find the exact commit that broke this 
functionality.  Extra bonus point for writing a test that would have 
caught this regression.
