[ase-users] ASE version 3.12 released!

Hi!

After 870 commits from 58 committers we now have a new version of ASE.  
It's the best ASE ever and there is no reason for you not to update your 
old version.  You can get it from the Python package index via a "pip 
install" as described here:

Among the changes are: new tools for defect calculations, preconditioned 
LBFGS structure optimizer and updated ase.units (based on CODATA 2014).

Please update, run the tests and let us know if anything has broken.
