Hi Panu,

I believe you are missing the ASE binary files in your path, which should be along the lines of adding ~/ase/bin (depending on the location of your ASE installation) to your PATH.

Regards,

Alexander

Subject: [ase-users] upgrading ASE ver3.13 to 3.14 : test file failed

Hello,

I just upgraded ASE version3.13 to 3.14 by doing
           $ pip install --upgrade --user ase
which looks like it was successfully installed and then when I did
                    $ ase test
it says "command not found"

[Inline image 1]

Can someone help me to get this to work? (I have Mac OS 11.11.6. ) Do I have to change the PATH in my ~/.bash_profile?

Thank you,
Panu
