[ase-users] Magnetic Moment Colors in ASE GUI

Hi Ask,

I'll likely try implementing uniform contrast, diverging color map. (more info: https://peterkovesi.com/projects/colourmaps/)

It seems my new hobby is collecting colour map formats! Let me know of any other formats I should generate. This XKCD Cartoon seems to apply here.. Please note that I have not been able to test all these file formats as I do not have access to all these packages.

I'd like to put my knowledge of colorimetry to good use!

Best,

-Mike

Thanks, please see ase/gui/view.py, "get_color_scalars()" and "get_colors()".

I think the colour scale might be the same as for other colouring
modes. If other colouring modes are okay, maybe the magmom values
just need to be scaled up to span a larger part of the scale. I don't
know for sure though.

Best regards
