[ase-users] Reverse color maps in ASE GUI?

Hi,

Is there a reason that reverse colour maps are disabled for coloring atoms in ASE GUI, as per this line: https://gitlab.com/ase/ase/-/blob/master/ase/gui/colors.py#L95

In particular, I’d like to use the bwr (blue-white-red) in the traditional manner for +q and -q, but this would require the bwr_r colormap as the numerical limits are setup the opposite way round currently (i.e.-q to +q run blue to red); happy to edit source code if necessary, but wondered if there was a reason this wasn’t generally available.

Thanks in advance,

Andy
