[ase-users] Atoms not tagged while building slab.

Dear ASE users and developers,

I am building a script to generate various slabs with different cleaving
directions. As usual for slabs, I want to fix the first layer.
The problem with my script is that the atom tags seem to be all zero, thus,
it cannot find the atoms to fix. In the documentation (
https://wiki.fysik.dtu.dk/ase/ase/build/surface.html?highlight=tags) it
says the atoms on each layer should have its layer tag.
I am new to ASE, thus, sorry if it is a simple mistake.
