[ase-users] Error when test ASE

Hello,

My name is Jun, a PhD student from McGill university.

Recently, I installed the ASE. But when I tested the installation using “ase test”. It shows that “ValueError: builtins.type size changed, may indicate binary incompatibility. Expected 888 from C header, got 880 from PyObject”

I checked some websites and they suggested to upgrade the numpy. I upgraded the numpy but it still did not work.

numpy 1.22.3      Python 3.10     scipy 1.8.0

Could you please give me some suggestions?
