[gpaw-users] installation problems on Mac OS X 10.6

Hello all,

I am trying to install GPAW on a Mac OS X 10.6 system and get the following error when using the install command:

Any help in tracking where I should look is much appreciated.

This is the first time I am installing on Snow Leopard. I installed the Xcode tools followed by Fink 0.29.10. The python version: 2.5.4 while the ASE version is 3.3.1.1390.
