Hi, I am trying to compute a XES spectrum from a .gpw file of fairly
small size, 33MB. My GPAW version is 0.7.6383. I run it on the Akka cluster
where each node is equipped with two low power Intel Xeon quad-core L5420
CPUs and 16 GB of RAM. The .txt file gives a memory estimate of 24143.31
MiB. When I allow sufficient enough memory and serially trying to calculate
the spectrum from the restart file I obtain an error message indicating
that something is wrong with the memory allocation, but I don't really
understand it. The message: python: c/extensions.h:40: gpaw_malloc:
Assertion `p != ((void *)0)' failed.
 I can use the restart file to
calculate other properties. I attach the input file and .txt file if anyone
wants to take a look Would appreciate any input... Cheers Henrik
