Dear all,

we have a an open Ph.D. or Postdoc position in the area of Theoretical
Chemistry for a person interested in the study of 

"Diffusion Mechanisms in Mayenite".

Mayenite is an Al-Ca-O compound with an "anti-zeolite" cage structure.
The aim of the DFG project is understanding the Mechanisms of Diffusion
of intercalated anions (oxide, nitride, sulfide, etc.) containing O, N
and S, especially in the case of substitution of lattice atoms.
Quantum-chemical programs to be used: VASP, CRYSTAL and GPAW.

We can offer you a full post-doc position for two years, or a Ph.D.
position for three years, starting from beginning of 2011.
