Thank you. I would like to compare the field calculated using classical electrodynamics where the incident field E0=1 with the field calculated in GPAW using TDDFT time propagation. In other words can I assume the incident field in case of the TDDFT equal to 1?Thanks again
 Sincerely,

  Hi,

The field enhancement is calculated as the total electric field strength divided by the incident electric field strength. In the case of a delta kick, the incident electric field strength is proportional to the kick strength. In the assumed linear response regime the field enhancement should not depend on the used kick strength.

 Best,
 Tuomas

Dear all, In the field enhancement example on the web it shows the field enhancement using a color scale ranging from 0 to 25. However, I think these values is relative to the incident field but I don't know what is the value of the incident field since it is a delta kick. are these values normalized? Thanks
